Oh’sy’s Memoriam
Leuc had just transcribed the transport logs when Oh’sy came again. They had met 217 times before. The discussion picked up exactly as they had left off, but essentially they had never stopped. Oh’sy had questions about solids and Leuc had questions about vapor. Their conversations stopped when Oh’sy’s amulet decayed and Leuc’s memories were transferred to the helmet. She would not ‘remember’ the interactions until the helmet had sufficient data to solve the equation for the melting point of the Hært.
Soon after this meeting, her ship was raided and all possessions seized, including the helmet. Kept in the Enforcers' possession it still has insufficient data to complete its calculations. Leuc is long dead but the helmet’s data is still being studied by the Enforcers who successfully hacked the encryption and accessed the memories.
They have no clue who or where Oh’sy is.
